giants and dwarfs

did you ever notice how in fairy tales and fantasty novels giants and dwarves are considered to be stronger than humans and have powers? Example: Paul Bunyon and Gimli. they are not always on the side of good, but there are definitely olympic events they would do well in, which shows their physical prowess. for example, no one could beat paul bunyon at basketball or wrestling. well anyway my pont is that in REAL life, most giants and dwarfs are looked at as freaks and they have no powers. that is because real life is racist.

this is why I don't support God, and am instead an animist, which means I worship animal spirits and such. if a Bear Spirit were in charge, instead of God, then I don't think giants would be freaks without powers (dwarves, maybe). because big hairy giants would be kind of like bears and the Bear Spirit obviously would want them to do awesome.
